ESPN x Andscape: Dex Robinson & Diallo — On November 1st, I was tapped by ESPN to document a story on celebrity stylist Dex Robinson for his feature on Andscape. The day was spent with Dex as he revisited his hometown, Richmond, Virginia, and his alma mater, Virginia Union University (VUU).
Dex returned to campus to host an intimate fashion show featuring his Diallo line. It was incredible to see him in action, styling his own show with the same precision he brings to the NBA tunnels and NFL athletes he regularly works with. This event was a collaboration between Dex, Nike, and his Diallo brand, showcasing his unique vision.
Adding to the excitement, another project tied into the day—a Nike x Yard Runners collaboration. This shoe line celebrated Black excellence and drew inspiration from HBCUs, with Dex bringing that vision to life.
