New York Fashion Week 2016: The Beginning with Russell Westbrook — My freelance career truly began with Russell Westbrook. This project marked my entry into the industry and set the tone for the journey ahead.
This was my very first collaboration with him outside out the brand [Jordan], and it took place during New York Fashion Week, right after we returned from his Asia tour. I spent a full week with Russ in New York, capturing him as he attended multiple shows and brought his signature energy to the streets. Whether it was him hyping up the crowd, dancing mid-stride, or casually brushing shoulders with celebrities, every moment felt electric.
That week wasn’t just a project—it was the start of my journey with NYFW and a major milestone in my career, all thanks to Russell’s trust and belief in my work.
